  • •Lead and grow designers across Figma’s internal Design Systems foundations, tokens and variables, component libraries, internal tooling, governance, and adoption
  • •Set an ambitious vision and quality bar for how the internal design system evolves and translates transformation into coherent foundations for the product suite
  • •Partner with Design, Product, and Engineering leaders on strategy, resourcing, technical direction, adoption, and execution across a complex organization

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of design management experience with direct people leadership across multiple workstreams, including hiring, coaching, retaining, and developing designers
  • •Technical fluency with design foundations, tokens and variables, component libraries, internal tooling, and system architecture, including experience leading AI-enabled Design Systems workflows
  • •Experience evolving an internal design system at scale and driving meaningful adoption across a sizable product organization
