Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with customers to resolve complex MongoDB issues across architecture, performance, recovery, security, and more.
  • •Advise on best practices for running MongoDB at scale and serve as an expert resource across the MongoDB ecosystem.
  • •Interface with product management and development teams to advocate for customers’ needs.
  • •Contribute to internal projects, including software development of support tools for performance, benchmarking, and diagnostics.
  • •Collaborate with teammates and engage when support is needed, using good judgment about when to seek help.

Key Requirements

  • •Strong technical experience in one or more areas such as systems administration, distributed systems, network administration, database architecture and administration, application architecture, or data architecture and design.
  • •Experience with performance tuning and benchmarking.
  • •Extra advantage: experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, C/C++, C#, JavaScript/node.js, Go, PHP, or Perl.
  • •If you have an operations background, experience administering large-scale production environments, including hardware, operating systems (e.g., Linux, Windows), networks (including firewalls and load balancers), and cloud resources (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication, a strong desire to help, and advanced diagnostic/troubleshooting skills to investigate and solve problems under pressure.
