Key Responsibilities

  • •Protect Wise merchants and the business from fraud chargeback losses and first-party merchant fraud.
  • •Proactively analyze merchant dispute trends and identify gaps in acquiring fraud prevention rulesets across pre- and post-authorization flows.
  • •Create and optimize acquiring fraud rules to mitigate impacts on dispute rates, chargeback loss rates, and merchant experience.
  • •Implement and use machine-learning scores within static fraud rules to improve precision and recall.
  • •Provide incident management support with data and insights for stakeholders, and escalate risks outside the acquiring fraud domain.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 2,800 - 3,400 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •At least 1 year of experience creating fraud rules on a risk engine.
  • •Proficiency in SQL, including building queries that extract information from multiple data tables.
  • •Hands-on fraud prevention experience such as building rules, tuning thresholds, or running post-incident reviews.
  • •Experience analyzing acquiring fraud prevention and explaining impacts of rule changes on the product and customers.
  • •Able to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal) to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
