Key Responsibilities

  • •Run a unit day to day to help deliver person-centred care and support independence and choice for residents.
  • •Support clinical duties with the nurse, including observing, issuing medication, reviewing care plans, and accurate record keeping.
  • •Drive and manage a team of Care Assistants, including responsibility for shift handovers.
  • •Help train and supervise new staff so they feel welcomed and supported.
  • •Assist residents with personal care and build relationships with residents, families, and external teams such as GPs and District Nurses.
