Job Summary

Lead maintenance teams responsible for installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical equipment across plant operations, facilities, utilities, and the powerhouse. Drive smooth operations by minimizing downtime and maximizing production efficiency through predictive/preventive maintenance, TPM, troubleshooting, and performance reporting. Ensure tasks comply with USDA regulations, maintain accurate records and inventory, and provide continuity when key personnel are absent while developing and coaching maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead maintenance teams of mechanics and electricians in predictive/preventative maintenance and machine repairs.
•Plan and schedule maintenance in collaboration with Production; develop and implement maintenance systems (prevention/predictive maintenance, TPM, SOPs, safety).
•Support day-to-day troubleshooting, problem analysis, and equipment failure resolution; monitor KPIs and provide status reports.
•Ensure maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations and maintain accurate records and inventory.
•Assume responsibility for completing or delegating required tasks and responsibilities in the absence of key personnel.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field plus 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent education and experience).
•Experience acting as a lead through training, coaching, mentoring, or managing a process/project.
•Ability to lead problem solving and troubleshooting efforts related to high-level process issues.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office; may require working long hours and weekends.
