Job Summary

Build BMC’s next-generation agentic AI platform from 0–1, designing and shipping production-grade AI capabilities for external B2B customers. You’ll lead the full lifecycle—from concept to deployment—across agent systems, inference services, orchestration layers, and evaluation/guardrails. Work closely with AI and engineering leadership to deliver reliable, controllable, cost-efficient outcomes on AWS, Azure, and GCP, while addressing real production risks like hallucinations and drift.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, build, and evolve agentic AI systems that reason, plan, execute, and adapt in production environments.
•Take AI-driven features from concept to production in a true 0–1 environment and ship reliable capabilities to external customers.
•Write and review production code across AI pipelines, inference services, orchestration layers, and supporting systems.
•Implement prompt engineering, tool use, memory, evaluation, and guardrails as engineering concerns.
•Deploy and operate AI services across AWS, Azure, and GCP, integrating LLMs and addressing production issues like hallucinations and drift.

Salary: USD 175,800 - 293,000 annually

Key Requirements

•10+ years of professional software development experience shipping B2B products used by external customers.
•Expert-level Python and strong experience designing and building production systems.
•Proven experience building, deploying, and operating AI-powered products in production (not just prototypes).
•Hands-on experience with LLMs and GenAI systems in real applications such as agents, copilots, automation, and decision systems.
•Deep knowledge of agent orchestration, prompt engineering/tool use, and RAG/vector search, plus monitoring and safety/guardrails.
