Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as the key day-to-day client interface and deliver value-added cost management to meet client objectives.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders throughout the construction lifecycle, including producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • •Review and coordinate cost estimates with design services and the general contractor; reconcile changes to ensure contractor data accuracy.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, cost variances, change control processes, and contingency/commitment tracking.
  • •Prepare monthly cost reports and support final account negotiation, while mentoring and coaching talent and adhering to SOX responsibilities where applicable.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •Minimum 5–7 years of relevant cost management experience in the construction industry.
  • •Experience supporting cost management on medium or large construction projects.
  • •Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
  • •Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters such as procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
