Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and train medical speech recognition models (or LLMs) using Knowtex’s proprietary clinical audio/text datasets.
  • •Design experiments and build datasets, benchmarks, and evaluation infrastructure to measure real-world clinical improvements.
  • •Research and apply modern speech/LLM approaches to improve accuracy, robustness, and structured clinical outputs.
  • •Fine-tune and post-train models, and optimize for low-latency, low-cost inference at production scale.
  • •Collaborate with clinicians, applied ML engineers, and platform engineers to deploy successful approaches into production.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in machine learning research or ML engineering with deep expertise in speech/audio modeling or large language models.
  • •Strong expertise in Python and PyTorch, plus deep understanding of transformer architectures and model training techniques.
  • •Experience training, fine-tuning, or post-training large neural models.
  • •Strong experimental methodology to independently design and execute research projects.
  • •Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed training environments, and translating research results into production systems.
