Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a First Officer on the Airbus A220 fleet as National Jet Systems continues to grow its operations.
•Work across National Jet Systems’ Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane bases as part of the flight crew.
•Help deliver industry best-practice training and promotion for flight crew.
•Maintain the required CASA ratings and certifications for A220 First Officer duties.
•Meet compliance requirements including drug and alcohol testing readiness and ability to hold the required aviation security identification.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 500 hours flight time in a fixed-wing aircraft and at least one: 200 hours command on a multi-engine aircraft (excluding PICUS), or 200 hours command on a turbine powered fixed-wing aircraft, or 200 hours on multi-crew aircraft certified for two pilots.
•CASA ATPL (A) or CASA CPL(A) with passes in all Australian ATPL theory subjects, plus MCC course completion certificate (if holding a CPL) or equivalent qualification.
•Multi-Engine Aeroplane class rating and Multi-Engine Aeroplane instrument rating with IAP 2D and IAP 3D.
•CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate and English Language Proficiency Level 6.
•Ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card, hold a current passport with unrestricted access to all countries Qantas operates to (at least 12 months validity), and be willing to pass drug and alcohol testing.
