Key Responsibilities

•Monitor information security processes, govern disaster recovery testing, and manage incidents related to information security.
•Conduct access reviews and manage access authorizations for systems and databases in line with DET security policies.
•Liaise with the Technology Department to implement vulnerability management systems across on-premise and cloud environments.
•Coordinate with third-party IT vendors and manage third-party security interactions, including validation of cyber readiness and audit requirements.
•Ensure effective security monitoring via periodic reports from SOC providers, maintain DET’s Dubai Cyber index score, and manage compliance reviews (including ISO 27001/ISR).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Management Systems, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
•11+ years of experience in information security, including 5+ years leading operations/support or SOC/IAM/vulnerability functions.
•Extensive experience conducting risk assessments, creating risk mitigation strategies, and managing incident response.
•Proven experience implementing access controls and authorizations for systems and databases, ensuring compliance with security policies.
•Knowledge of governance for security assurance and performance assessment frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001/ISR) and disaster recovery planning.
