Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide full-spectrum doula support for birth and postpartum care.
  • •Operate as an independent contractor in a non-exclusive network.
  • •Accept insured-client referrals through Loula’s client referral/doula matching program.
  • •Use Loula’s support for insurance verification, billing, and payment so less time is spent on administrative work.
  • •Maintain required trainings and coverage (CPR, HIPAA, liability insurance) as part of the partnership requirements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Completed 16 hours of birth doula training and attended 3 births as a doula, or 5 years of doula experience with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
  • •If you don’t yet have CPR training, HIPAA training, liability insurance, or the letters of recommendation, you can still reach out for support getting set up.
