Key Responsibilities

  • •Understand project requirements and collaborate with project owners, leaders, and cross-functional teams globally using standard processes, systems, and project management principles.
  • •Ensure project milestones/deliverables meet quality, delivery, and project/product cost targets, applying project management skills.
  • •Solve technical problems and participate in concept reviews and critical design reviews while handling multiple projects.
  • •Develop concepts and design/select components with suppliers; create component specifications for structural components and assemblies, including DFMEA and test plans.
  • •Create and release engineering documentation using PLM/PDM tools like ProE and Windchill, and coordinate cross-functional teams to implement design changes.

Key Requirements

  • •BE degree in Mechanical / Masters in Thermal Engineering or related specialization.
  • •3+ years of experience in component selection, system integration, concept development, design calculations, and design engineering in the current domain.
  • •Experience in product design and development process/phases, including hands-on DFMEA and test plan development and prototype/engineering build & testing exposure.
  • •Knowledge of metal and non-metal component design, assemblies, and manufacturing processes; basic electrical system/components is an added advantage.
  • •Ability to identify root causes and use problem-solving tools; strong teamwork and communication skills.
