Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop Subsea XT technologies that meet customer needs and advance new and proven solutions.
  • •Generate new designs and engineering deliverables including detailed drawings, stack-up drawings, BOMs, calculations, engineering part information, and lead qualification.
  • •Ensure scopes are completed within agreed timeline and budget while managing plan, budget, risks, resources, and stakeholder/change management.
  • •Lead global teams and collaborate with business functions to capture engineering requirements, applying DFMA principles.
  • •Provide technical guidance and peer reviews for engineering deliverables and coach/mentor other engineers and designers; drive innovation including patents and Freedom to Operate analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven design engineering experience for subsea production systems, with deep knowledge of how engineering turns into real products using 3D models and detailed drawings.
  • •Deep understanding of GD&T and Design for Manufacture (DFMA) principles.
  • •Direct ownership and accountability for multiple stakeholders, with the ability to coordinate several projects and manage conflict.
  • •Strong CAD and engineering package knowledge, including CREO (PRO-E) and TeamCenter/PLM.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, preferably Mechanical/Industrial/Petroleum (Chartered Engineer desirable).
