Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead commercial reviews of tender documents to identify and articulate risks, opportunities, and key commercial positions.
  • •Support contract negotiations and coordinate commercial inputs across finance, legal, HR, insurance, tax, and risk management; support submissions to the Asia Risk Committee.
  • •Establish change control and manage variations end-to-end, from scope identification through valuation and settlement.
  • •Conduct forensic analysis of project documentation to support entitlement and quantum for claims and dispute resolution, including negotiating claim settlements.
  • •Prepare client-facing correspondence and represent AECOM in relevant industry forums, engaging confidently with senior client and government stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Business, Finance, Law, or a related discipline.
  • •15+ years of commercial or contract management experience in consulting (engineering, infrastructure, or project/program management), including at least 5 years at managerial/leadership level.
  • •Full lifecycle expertise across pre-contract (bidding, risk, procurement) and post-contract (variations, claims, dispute resolution).
  • •Proven experience on complex, multi-disciplinary engagements, including drafting and negotiating bespoke agreements and managing large-value pursuits (e.g., fee > US$5M).
  • •Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial law, including FIDIC, NEC3/NEC4, JCT, government frameworks, and Singapore standards, with advanced valuation and claim documentation skills.
