Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver Environmental Permit applications, variations, transfers, and surrenders for clients across the UK and Ireland.
  • •Conduct environmental risk assessments, identify potential environmental impacts/risks, and develop mitigation measures and management plans.
  • •Advise clients on legislation, regulatory guidance, and BAT; help ensure compliance with environmental legislation and best practice.
  • •Support regulator and stakeholder engagement, working collaboratively with EHS colleagues and the wider Environment team.
  • •Carry out environmental audits and provide quality assurance and technical reviews; mentor junior team members and support business development.

Key Requirements

  • •A base first degree or equivalent qualification in an engineering or science discipline.
  • •Demonstrable experience in an industrial or consultancy role.
  • •A strong track record delivering Environmental Permitting compliance services and preparing associated documentation.
  • •Extensive working knowledge of relevant UK National and European environmental legislation.
  • •Post-qualified experience in environmental compliance and permitting; some health and safety experience and ISO 14001 knowledge is beneficial.
