Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Commissioning Manager and Principal Commissioning Engineer with preparation of home office deliverables.
  • •On-site, participate in walk-down inspections, punch listing, and testing, including troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrument component issues.
  • •Collaborate with the project team and client to maintain positive relationships and coordinate with other engineers on the commissioning team.
  • •Support commissioning team activities including manuals development, spares development, first fills and consumables development, and commissioning/start-up procedures.
  • •Supervise craft personnel and commissioning-related specialists; resolve operational and maintenance issues during commissioning, start-up, and performance tests.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
  • •8–15 years of oil and gas experience with a major contractor or consultant.
  • •5+ years of experience in a chemical, refinery, or oil & gas processing facility, with 2+ years of commissioning and start-up experience in that environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of commissioning, completions, and training concepts, plus basic knowledge of construction and operations & maintenance.
  • •Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, plus the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively and travel to construction sites internationally.
