Job Summary

Help consumer and business customers achieve their financial goals by retaining and growing relationships in a branch banking environment. Identify customers’ financial needs, recommend appropriate deposit, loan, and banking services, and resolve issues with strong customer service. Use appointments, referrals, and centers of influence to drive growth, educate customers on online/mobile/ATM banking technology, and follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
•Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through appointments, centers of influence, disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up, and referrals.
•Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build internal partnerships.
•Educate customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
•Maintain knowledge of products, services, technology, and policies while adhering to operational, security, risk, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and minimum 1 year of customer service and sales in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, business-to-business sales, or military service in a related role.
•Provide fingerprints and complete additional background check requirements as required by NMLS regulations.
•Bachelor’s degree and 1 year or more experience in customer service and sales in banking or goal-driven sales is preferred.
•Ability to build, deepen, and retain customer relationships.
•Demonstrated acumen in banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking/lending, customer service, and presentation skills.
