Job Summary

Lead laboratory testing and analysis to support safe, reliable finished products for customers in Mining/Metals/Fertilizer. Conduct practical R&D in the lab, execute routine and complex analyses using technical instruments, process and prepare samples, and calculate, log, and report results. Oversee experiments, perform quality control and equipment calibration, and help resolve technical problems while presenting metrics and project status to internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to the design and development of products through laboratory tests and analysis, ensuring safe and reliable delivery in an efficient manner.
•Conduct laboratory R&D activities, including routine and complex analyses using appropriate technical equipment and instruments.
•Receive, collect, and process samples; calculate test results, and log and report findings to relevant teams.
•Prepare and supervise experiments, including performing quality control and calibrating equipment if necessary.
•Resolve technical problems using acquired expertise and present metrics, project status, and research updates to internal teams.

•Minimum 5 years of laboratory experience supporting Deep Water Drilling operations (10+ preferred).
•Expertise in pilot testing and formulation development for drilling and completion fluid systems.
•Strong understanding of Non-Aqueous Fluid (NAF) systems, including Oil-Based Muds (OBM).
•Hands-on experience with Water-Based Mud (WBM) systems, including SDKD and WPWBM.
•Experience with formulating/testing single-, double-, and triple-salt brine systems (e.g., NaCl, NaBr, CaBr₂, KCl) and TCT/PCT brine testing.
