Job Summary

Develop and integrate real-time sensor fusion software for heterogeneous autonomous vehicles across land, air, sea, and space. You’ll design and rapidly integrate perception autonomy algorithms, build sensor control interfaces, and deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux systems. Collaborate with sensor, tracking, and autonomy teams to support on-site DoD testing and demonstrations, interact with customers on use cases, and use simulation tooling to analyze field test results and drive integration improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and rapidly integrate sensor fusion algorithms to interface across multiple autonomous platforms.
•Develop, integrate, and adapt AI/ML perception autonomy algorithms across a suite of platform sensors.
•Create interfacing software to autonomously control sensors (EO, IR, acoustics, radar, RF).
•Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices and use computer-in-the-loop testing, profiling, and performance data collection.
•Collaborate with internal teams and DoD customers during on-site testing and field events, and use simulation tooling to drive integration improvements.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 150,000 - 220,000 annually

Key Requirements

•MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotic Engineering, Computer Science, Optimization, or equivalent, or 5+ years working with sensor algorithms, hardware, and HIL software integration.
•Experience with multiple sensor modalities and a core understanding of sensor physics and sensor control parameters.
•Experience training and deploying ML algorithms in Python using PyTorch or TensorFlow, and deploying models via ONNX and C++.
•Experience with state-of-the-art estimation, tracking, and fusion algorithms.
•Comfortable working in Linux and Docker (containerized solutions).
