Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement cost control procedures and systems to monitor project expenditures and maintain budgetary constraints.
  • •Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to establish project budgets, cost forecasts, and expenditure plans.
  • •Conduct cost estimation and analysis and track/analyze project costs to identify variances, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • •Prepare regular cost reports and presentations highlighting key financial metrics and performance indicators for stakeholders.
  • •Review invoices and assess change orders/variations for cost and schedule impacts; implement cost control measures to mitigate risks and prevent cost overruns.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of working experience, including 5 years of relevant cost control experience (2 years GCC experience is a plus).
  • •Develop and implement cost control procedures and systems to ensure budget adherence.
  • •Perform detailed cost estimation and analysis for project components, materials, labor, and overhead; track variances and trends.
  • •Review contractor and vendor invoices and evaluate change orders/variations to assess impacts on project costs and timelines.
  • •Proficiency with cost control tools (e.g., Primavera, Procore) and ERP knowledge preferably SAP; strong understanding of accounting principles and contract management.
