Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as senior content and SEO leader for Kelley Blue Book and Autotrader, representing content strategy in executive forums and industry events.
  • •Lead organizational transformation for a ~50-person content organization, including AI-enabled workflows, tool migrations, workflow redesign, and restructuring.
  • •Develop and evolve multi-brand content strategies using audience insights, search demand, and AI search trends; establish editorial standards and quality frameworks.
  • •Oversee creative and multimedia production (editorial content, photography, video, YouTube, social media) and drive video/YouTube growth strategies.
  • •Own end-to-end content operations and content technology strategy, including SEO strategy (technical, keyword, content optimization, internal linking, authority building), GEO initiatives, vendor/portfolio management, and performance reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience in digital publishing, content strategy, or content leadership; Master’s degree (10+ years) or PhD (7+ years) also considered.
  • •Minimum 6 years leading large, multi-layered teams.
  • •Experience leading content strategy across multiple brands or digital properties, with expertise in SEO including technical SEO and content optimization.
  • •Experience managing large-scale content operations producing 1,000+ assets annually and managing content technology ecosystems and enterprise platforms.
  • •Proven success influencing VP-level and executive stakeholders, including experience leading organizational transformation and change management.
