Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform monthly accounting including booking GNS/JV royalty accruals, deferrals, AR/AP, and clearing aging items.
  • •Manage reconciliations in SLU/IRIS applications.
  • •Conduct data analytics and month-end reporting for GNS royalties, third-party benefits, GNS incentives, and JV accounting.
  • •Maintain compliance with procedures and policies; collaborate with Control and Compliance, SOX, and Operational Risk teams.
  • •Support monitoring and reporting models, standardization/automation, and operational transformation initiatives related to data integrity and revenue accounting.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of work experience with a finance/accounting focus.
  • •Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex contractual terms into financial implications.
  • •Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and strong MIS skills for reporting and analysis.
  • •Good understanding of American Express products, financial processes, and systems/tools, especially Salesforce, MicroStrategy, Oracle General Ledger, and IRIS.
  • •Knowledge of GNS/JV business will be an added advantage; eye for detail and ability to cross-link data points for comprehensive analysis.
