Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle in accordance with applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • •Transport loads safely and on time, obeying traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • •Maneuver truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading goods and materials, including unloading empty skids and returning equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required paperwork (invoices, bills of lading) and perform routine truck service such as checking oil/water/gasoline/air; report maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Must hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or chauffeur’s license depending on state, appropriate for the weight of the vehicle operated.

  • •Must pass a DOT physical (trucks driven are over 10k lbs).
  • •Must be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Must be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and travel frequently.
