Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead enterprise vulnerability management operations, including deployment, configuration, and optimization of Tenable Security Center across Linux/Red Hat environments.
  • •Manage vulnerability remediation through POA&M handling across on-prem and Azure IL5/IL6 environments, ensuring secure and compliant system posture aligned with DISA STIGs, NSA guidance, and DoD requirements.
  • •Collaborate with engineering, cloud, network, cybersecurity operations, and leadership teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and improve secure configuration practices.
  • •Drive continuous improvement by analyzing vulnerability data, developing actionable reporting, tuning detection rules, and resolving scanner and integration challenges.
  • •Use security tooling and monitoring solutions (including Tenable Security Center and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint) to enhance endpoint security and threat-detection fidelity.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of related experience in federal/DoD cybersecurity environments.
  • •TS/SCI security clearance (must currently possess) and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • •US citizenship required.
  • •Education: Security+ or a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
  • •Hands-on experience with Tenable Security Center (Tenable.sc), Linux/Red Hat administration, vulnerability analysis, and familiarity with DISA STIGs/NSA guidelines/DoD compliance frameworks (including RMF and NIST 800-53).
