Job Summary

Senior firmware engineer focused on developing and delivering UEFI/BIOS firmware for AMD's EPYC datacenter products. You will design, implement, debug, and validate platform BIOS, collaborate with silicon/platform teams, and influence cross-functional work streams to achieve high-quality, on-time BIOS solutions for server platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead firmware development efforts for UEFI/BIOS, including design, development, debugging, and validation of platform firmware across server products.
•Communicate the big picture and oversee End-to-End firmware flow and component integration, coordinating across cross-functional teams.
•Perform end-to-end BIOS development work and triage/debug/validate firmware, software and/or hardware as part of lifecycle management.
•Collaborate closely with silicon design, platform design, and validation teams to triage and resolve system issues aligned with customer and internal needs.
•Design and develop platform BIOS based on silicon and board features, ensuring high quality and on-time delivery.

Key Requirements

•In-depth UEFI BIOS development experience (mandatory)
•Experience in server BIOS architecture (mandatory)
•Knowledge of server hardware interfaces (Ethernet, SATA, AHCI, DDR5, PCIe, NVMe)
•Familiarity with AMI AptioV BIOS (desirable)
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent (preferred)
