Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical consulting and product guidance to banks and partners integrating Wise, primarily post-sale.
  • •Assist partners during implementation by defining technical solutions and documenting requirements.
  • •Support business development for larger partners, including technical scoping and feature design for novel requirements.
  • •Design and develop new features for Wise services and expose them via the public API when needed.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years in customer-facing engineering roles, ideally in financial services (e.g., solutions engineer, integration engineer, solutions consultant).
  • •Familiarity with design patterns and architectural principles, including domain-driven design (DDD), event-driven architecture (EDA), and microservices architecture.
  • •Experience with Java (Spring), Kubernetes, AWS, service mesh architectures, and RESTful APIs including API design, Swagger/OpenAPI, and OAuth2.
  • •Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
