Key Responsibilities

•Provide technical consulting and product guidance to banks and partners integrating Wise, primarily post-sale.
•Assist partners during implementation by defining technical solutions and documenting requirements.
•Support business development for larger partners, including technical scoping and feature design for novel requirements.
•Design and develop new features for Wise services and expose them via the public API when needed.
•Troubleshoot, test, and resolve technical issues, and improve integration experience through documentation, APIs, SDKs, and reference implementations.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 230,000 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years in customer-facing engineering roles, ideally in financial services (e.g., solutions engineer, integration engineer, solutions consultant).
•Familiarity with design patterns and architectural principles, including domain-driven design (DDD), event-driven architecture (EDA), and microservices architecture.
•Experience with Java (Spring), Kubernetes, AWS, service mesh architectures, and RESTful APIs including API design, Swagger/OpenAPI, and OAuth2.
•Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Cassandra.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage competing priorities.
