Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead benefits program management for Leave of Absence, Disability, Life, and Time Off across US & Canada, supporting strategic goals and multi-year planning.
  • •Develop partnerships with key stakeholders (Payroll, Legal, Employee Relations, HR Business Partners, Risk, Finance, and other groups) to deliver program objectives.
  • •Oversee financial management and operational planning, including self-funded plans and annual fringe budget planning, plus PO processes and vendor invoice payments.
  • •Ensure compliance by setting up statutory plans and monitoring state, federal, and provincial requirements, including audits and documentation reviews.
  • •Drive resolution on complex leave cases (intermittent leave, extensions, return-to-work, and ADA-related requests) and manage day-to-day vendor administration.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 93,600 - 200,700 annually

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of progressive benefits program management experience in leave administration, benefits management, consulting, or case management.
  • •Strong knowledge of leave practices and regulations for FMLA and ADA leave processes, state leave laws, and return-to-work practices.
  • •Experience administering complex benefits programs for large, multi-state employers and implementing innovative operational processes.
  • •Demonstrated ability to manage complex leave cases, provide stellar employee experience, monitor compliance, and make sound decisions using HRIS/leave management systems.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) is a plus.
