Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate, maintain, and update accurate, engaging, user-friendly documentation for air-to-air refuelling and weapons carriage & release systems.
  • •Produce, edit, and maintain technical documents to meet customer and contract requirements, including manuals, data modules, component maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and information letters.
  • •Ensure all technical documentation meets quality, timeframes, and authoring specifications, including reviewing material authored by others and coordinating with vendor partners.
  • •Complete technical verification and validation of source documentation with subject matter experts and partners to validate content for technical publications.
  • •Interface with subject matter experts to produce and maintain current documentation as required.

Key Requirements

  • •7 years of experience in aerospace technical authoring or ILS.
  • •GCSE at a minimum; A-levels preferred.
  • •Competent in Simplified Technical English, iSpec2200, and S1000D.
  • •Ability to produce, edit, and maintain technical documents to required quality, timeframes, and standards.
  • •Teamwork and strong English language skills.
