Key Responsibilities

  • •Define, implement and maintain the target state business and technology architecture for the Alternatives business
  • •Translate business strategy into actionable architectural roadmaps and solution designs aligned with HSBC Group standards
  • •Align architecture strategy with global Asset Management objectives and business growth plans
  • •Identify opportunities for innovation, automation, and efficiency improvements across the Alternatives operating model
  • •Influence senior management by articulating architecture vision and demonstrating alignment to business value and regulatory requirements

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in Asset Management or Alternatives with deep understanding of private markets (private equity, private credit, real assets, hedge funds)
  • •Proven experience as a Business or Solutions Architect within financial services or investment management within a top-tier investment bank, asset manager, or alternatives-focused financial institution
  • •Strong understanding of data architecture, including data lineage, data flows, integration, and governance
  • •Exposure to front-to-back operating models in Alternatives, with hands-on experience with leading alternatives asset management platforms (e.g., Allvue, eFront, Arcesium, SimCorp, BlackRock Aladdin, Investran, or similar)
  • •Experience with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain in alternatives context
