Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct cash and negotiable item transactions including loan payments, deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
  • •Assist with balancing vault, ATM, night drop, and coin machine as assigned and set up, close, and balance the teller station.
  • •Properly scan bank documents and proof work, and apply holds and check-cashing decisions using judgment.
  • •Cross-sell bank products and services, record sales of monetary instruments, and assist customers with inquiries in person or by telephone.
  • •Float/travel to different branch locations within the region or market as needed and maintain a neat, well-stocked teller area while adhering to scheduled availability.

Key Requirements

  • •Equivalent to four years of high school or GED with particular emphasis on office/work skills; 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent combination).
  • •Ability to conduct transactions accurately and efficiently, safeguard bank assets, and follow bank policies and procedures.
  • •Strong mathematical ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numbers using money and measurements.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively with customers and respond to questions in person, by telephone, and in small group situations.
  • •Must be available to float between work locations as needed and remain flexible with the work schedule.
