Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and implementation of AI research and production infrastructure at scale, managing technical debt and directing strategies for distributed systems.
  • •Mentor junior engineers and help raise engineering standards across the AI Products team.
  • •Collaborate across Xero to enhance data usability and solve complex technical challenges with the right methods.
  • •Work with ML Engineers and Applied Scientists to build interfaces and transition models from research to production.
  • •Refactor complex systems and design scalable, distributed production infrastructure to support next-generation AI features.
