Key Responsibilities

•Perform on-air Multimedia Journalist responsibilities for Telemundo Las Vegas KBLR newscasts across multiple platforms.
•Contribute story ideas, research, set up interviews, and prepare story content in a fair and unbiased manner.
•Collaborate with producers and managers to conceptualize, produce, and present news specials and packages from breaking or pre-planned stories.
•Generate, edit, and report new stories from the field, developing and maintaining a network of news sources.
•Operate camera and recording equipment, edit with Adobe Premiere Pro, maintain technical equipment, and manage deadlines with flexible 24/7 scheduling.

Key Requirements

•Fluency in Spanish and English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
•BA or BS in Journalism / Communications.
•Minimum of 3 years television anchor/reporter experience.
•Excellent camera and editing skills, including ad-libbing and strong live reporting ability.
•Ability to work under intense deadline pressure and work effectively in a team environment.
