Job Summary

Provide pre-sales support for Workiva’s platform by engaging prospects and customers throughout the sales cycle—driving discovery, leading product demonstrations, and aligning platform capabilities to customer needs. Build process assessments and proof of concepts, develop partner-specific business cases, and support onboarding success with implementation partners and Client Services. Leverage domain expertise across Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability Reporting while collaborating with Sales and product teams to capture requirements and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

•Execute the pre-sales framework by engaging customers, prospects, and partners via virtual and onsite meetings to drive discovery.
•Lead product demonstrations and connect customer outcomes to Workiva platform capabilities throughout validation.
•Demonstrate expertise across Financial Reporting, GRC, and Sustainability Reporting and develop knowledge of relevant industries and use cases.
•Conduct process assessments, build proof of concepts to validate requirements, and present partner-specific business cases.
•Support customer success by working with implementation partners and Workiva Client Services for smooth onboarding and long-term outcomes.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•6+ years related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 4 years with a Master’s degree; or 2 years with a PhD.
•Knowledge of Financial Reporting, GRC, or Sustainability Reporting, or strong aptitude to rapidly develop deep domain expertise in financial services workflows and regulations.
•Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
•Experience building processes from the ground up, including design, proposal, and cross-functional alignment.
•Hands-on technical experience with SaaS solutions, cloud technologies/architectures, and integration/connection concepts (API).
