Key Responsibilities

  • •Own PCB layout end-to-end, including component placement, routing, and fabrication release for complex robotic systems.
  • •Collaborate with SI/PI engineers to refine layouts based on simulation results.
  • •Implement high-speed routing and requirements such as controlled impedance, power distribution, decoupling, grounding, EMI/EMC, thermal, and mechanical integration.
  • •Work with fabricators and assembly partners on stack-ups, design rules, and DFM/DFA/DFT reviews; close findings before release.
  • •Prepare fabrication/assembly documentation (drawings, ODB++, drill files, stack-up tables, manufacturing notes) and support board-level manufacturing failure analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years designing complex, multilayer PCBs and owning PCB layout through fabrication release.
  • •Fluency in Cadence Allegro PCB Designer and Constraint Manager.
  • •Strong HDI experience (fine-pitch BGAs, microvias, blind/buried vias, via-in-pad, sequential lamination).
  • •Solid signal and power integrity fundamentals (return paths, differential pairs, length matching, crosstalk, power delivery).
