Job Summary

Lead biosolids design and provide technical leadership for municipal wastewater and biosolids infrastructure projects across Ontario. Apply deep experience in biosolids process evaluation, anaerobic digestion, sludge thickening/dewatering, and thermal treatment technologies to support engineering delivery, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and partner with clients and regulators, while mentoring staff and serving as the primary technical expert for your specialty area.

•Lead AECOM biosolids design on key municipal wastewater and biosolids projects.
•Support and coordinate engineering activities across biosolids management, sludge treatment, residuals treatment, and bioresources processing.
•Mentor and guide staff and project managers on technical solutions in biosolids technology.
•Serve as the primary technical leader for your business area within biosolids and wastewater specialties.
•Recommend program and application changes by staying current on new developments and emerging technologies affecting the organization.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 17,000 - 225,000 annually

Key Requirements

•BS in Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of demonstrated experience in wastewater treatment.
•Professional Engineers License with PEO or ability to transfer within 6 months.
•Experience preparing process design criteria for biosolids treatment.
•Extensive experience in biosolids treatment for municipal wastewater treatment plant expansion and upgrade design and construction projects.
•Experience leading the biosolids treatment component of municipal wastewater projects.
