Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and direct consultant project teams across concurrent capital projects from acquisition through design-build phases.
  • •Enforce consistent project controls across firms, including schedule formats/updates, cost reporting, risk registers, change management, submittal logs, and document control.
  • •Review and approve consultant deliverables before submission to the Judicial Council and return work that does not meet standards.
  • •Monitor single-firm resource performance and escalate inability to supply later-phase resources; conduct performance evaluations and recommend replacements.
  • •Provide consolidated portfolio-level reporting, support budget change proposals and planning studies, and coordinate statewide consistency of processes and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field plus 10+ years of relevant construction, engineering, and/or project management experience.
  • •Experience directing multiple concurrent capital projects at the portfolio level, with an aggregate program value of $500 million or greater.
  • •Five (5) years of experience supervising project management staff or multi-firm consultant teams.
  • •Demonstrated Design-Build delivery experience as an owner’s representative or lead project manager.
  • •Familiarity with public capital budget processes, including Capital Outlay Budget Change Proposals and Department of Finance review.
