Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up tools and perform optical alignment, wiring, and laser process optimization/development.
  • •Design and execute engineering experiment plans, coordinating installation of new equipment and upgrades.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 10 years of relevant technical experience, or an Associate’s degree with 5 years, or a Bachelor’s degree with 1 year, or a Master’s degree (preferred).
  • •Experience with optical setups, solid-state lasers, and familiarity with laser material interactions is highly preferred.
  • •Knowledge of at least one programming language, with prior work or school projects demonstrating competency (Python or C++ or LabVIEW preferred).
  • •Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems independently and take ownership of problem resolution.
  • •Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to train others on new projects and equipment procedures.
