Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft and revise detailed drawings using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD while working with engineers.
  • •Provide support on redline mark-ups for project drawings, layouts, maps, and exhibits.
  • •Work with cross-functional teams to execute project work and apply current drafting/design support practices.
  • •Prepare accurate design phase deliverables (plans, profiles, models, sections, details, specifications, and material lists) and produce multiple versions for engineering review.
  • •Assure plans adhere to city code and state/federal regulations, including compliance with contract requirements and ethical/safety standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of 3 years of relevant post-education experience with prior drafting and design support experience.
  • •Familiar with drafting and design support principles, practices, process, methods, and techniques.
  • •Familiar with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.
  • •Familiar with relevant codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements.
