Key Responsibilities

  • •Create detailed exhibition floor plans using AutoCAD and EXPOCAD (or similar), including booth layouts, aisle configurations, and traffic flow.
  • •Update plans in coordination with Sales and Sales Ops as booths are sold, held, or reconfigured, and provide up-to-date availability and space options.
  • •Prepare technical drawings, floor plan calculations (sellable space, gross/net floor area, occupancy), and venue comparison reports.
  • •Ensure designs comply with venue regulations, fire codes, and safety standards, and prepare documentation packages for Operations, contractors, and venue authorities.
  • •Manage multiple floor plan projects simultaneously with tight deadlines, track revisions, and maintain clear version control and organized digital files.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience in exhibition floor planning with proven skills.
  • •A degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, or 2–4 years of equivalent experience (ideally in exhibitions/events).
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD for designing, modifying, and managing large-scale trade show floor plans, including booth layouts and space optimization.
  • •Hands-on experience with EXPOCAD (or similar) to automate layout designs and manage spatial datasets for exhibitors.
  • •Knowledge of building codes, accessibility requirements, and venue safety regulations.
