Job Summary

Join a 9-week onboarding program to become a Retail Personal Banker I, combining rotations across operations and Sales & Service. Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, recommend retail consumer and small business solutions, and drive cross-selling and outside sales. Proactively reach out using CAMP and approved marketing tools, partner with mortgage and business teams, and support teller and platform staff activities while maintaining strong risk and ethics practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the bank’s value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Engage in cross-selling and outside sales activities, including presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and participate as a member of platform staff while opening/servicing retail products and supporting loan and bankcard processing as directed.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Comfort developing customer acquisition and cross-selling skills for retail consumer households and small businesses.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•This position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
