Technical Business Analyst for Merchant Acquiring and Payment Gateway platforms in Chennai. Own end-to-end requirements and solution analysis for complex payment workflows, collaborating with Product, Engineering, Risk and Compliance to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable payment solutions while ensuring alignment with PCI-DSS, SCA/3DS and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

•Own requirements for payment flows including authorization, capture, refund, settlement, reconciliation, and chargebacks.
•Translate business and regulatory needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
•Analyze end-to-end payment systems involving merchants, gateways, acquirers, networks, issuers, PSPs, and fraud systems.
•Provide solution options with system impact, data flow, and integration considerations.
•Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, UAT, test case reviews, and defect triage.

Key Requirements

•6–10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst
•Strong hands-on experience in Merchant Acquiring and Payment Gateway systems with EMV, Tokenization, APMs, 3DSecure, and payments protocol formats
•Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, distributed systems, and data flows
•Experience working in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments
•Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
