Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support for water projects.
  • •Produce plant layouts, design drawings and mechanical plant selection including specifications, WIMES data sheets, valve schedules, equipment schedules, lifting strategies, headloss calculations and P&IDs.
  • •Liaise and collaborate with water and other discipline teams including civil, electrical, process and mechanical engineers nationwide.
  • •Visit sites to carry out surveys and support liaison with clients, contractors and suppliers.
  • •Attend and contribute to design review meetings such as HAZOPs, HAZIDs, ALMs and SWIFTS.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
  • •Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution (e.g., IMechE)
  • •A proven ability to deliver engineering designs, reports, drawings, technical specifications, and calculations with confidence and precision
  • •Hands-on experience in delivering innovative solutions for water and wastewater engineering projects
  • •Ability to prepare feasibility studies, outline and detailed designs, and construction support
