Key Responsibilities

•Prepare feasibility studies, outline design, detailed design and construction support for water projects.
•Produce plant layouts, design drawings and mechanical plant selection including specifications, WIMES data sheets, valve schedules, equipment schedules, lifting strategies, headloss calculations and P&IDs.
•Liaise and collaborate with water and other discipline teams including civil, electrical, process and mechanical engineers nationwide.
•Visit sites to carry out surveys and support liaison with clients, contractors and suppliers.
•Attend and contribute to design review meetings such as HAZOPs, HAZIDs, ALMs and SWIFTS.

Key Requirements

•A degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering
•Progress towards Chartered Engineer status with a relevant institution (e.g., IMechE)
•A proven ability to deliver engineering designs, reports, drawings, technical specifications, and calculations with confidence and precision
•Hands-on experience in delivering innovative solutions for water and wastewater engineering projects
•Ability to prepare feasibility studies, outline and detailed designs, and construction support
