Lead financial controlling for Alan’s French entities, owning P&L, Balance Sheet reviews, and automation of reporting. Key Responsibilities

•Own monthly P&L and Balance Sheet reviews, variance analysis, commentary and audit readiness for the French entities.
•Ensure figures are accurate, well-documented and always ready for scrutiny; organize the finance function in the subsidiaries and the financial integration of potential acquired companies.
•Challenging, improving and automating financial processes, from writing controlling specifications for the Financial Data team to identifying improvement points in the monthly reporting cycle and driving concrete improvements.
•Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data is well understood and leveraged for decision-making, and own specific financial streams transversally across geographies.
•Contributing to scaling the team, including participating in hiring and onboarding future team members.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience with French accounting standards and how financial statements work; background in a top audit firm and/or a fast-paced scale-up. Familiarity with consolidation and process automation is a bonus.
•Fluent in both English and French.
•Analytical mindset with the ability to maintain a holistic view while staying rigorous at the detail level; basic SQL or AI tools knowledge is a bonus.
•Soft skills: Rigorous, hands-on and highly organized. Critical thinker who can work with both finance and non-finance stakeholders. Able to work autonomously and make clear decisions even in ambiguous situations.
•Familiarity with insurance accounting or regulated financial entities is a strong plus.
