Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance (e.g., oil and filter changes, fuel filter, transmission flush) and inspect vehicles for mechanical deficiencies.
  • •Complete repairs and maintenance based on certification levels, including diagnostics for OBD II systems, brakes, tires, tune-ups, suspension, electrical, and state safety inspections.
  • •Conduct advanced vehicle diagnostics and provide efficient diagnosis, repair, and replacement of automotive parts and accessories.
  • •Maintain shop equipment and keep the shop area clean and tidy while working in accordance with safety standards and regulations.
  • •Interface and coordinate with vendors for parts and repairs, provide roadside assistance as needed, and update vehicle history and maintenance records.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED (or 3+ years of related work experience servicing vehicles instead of the degree).

  • •Some ASE Automotive or Truck Certification and continued training to maintain current ASE status.
