Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates by analysing drawings, documents, and project plans, identifying risks and opportunities to protect project budgets. Review estimate data and finalise unit cost pricing using current market information and historical benchmarks. Coordinate with engineering and project teams to support estimate development, provide reporting on estimate changes, and mentor junior estimators. Use estimating and project-management tools to deliver accurate, timely estimating deliverables.
