Job Summary

Lead delivery of a major $800M+ waterfront infrastructure project in New York City. Manage a project team across all construction phases, overseeing marine, structural, geotechnical, and heavy civil work. Handle contract administration (submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, schedules, claims) and QA/QC compliance. Coordinate with owners, engineers, contractors, utilities, and regulatory agencies to keep the project safe, on-time, and on-budget.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the project management team, including Resident Engineers, Office Engineers, inspectors, consultants, and support staff, through all phases of construction.
•Manage marine, structural, geotechnical, and heavy civil construction projects, including waterfront and utility infrastructure.
•Oversee contract administration, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, schedules, claims, and QA/QC compliance.
•Coordinate with owners, engineers, contractors, utilities, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
•Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, reporting, documentation, and closeout to ensure successful project delivery.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Construction Engineering, or related field.
•OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required.
•10+ years of project or construction management experience, including 5+ years leading similar-size, complex projects.
•Experience managing marine, waterfront, structural, geotechnical, and heavy civil infrastructure projects.
•Strong knowledge of public-sector contract administration, project controls, QA/QC, CPM scheduling, and construction safety.
