Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide specialist derivatives support across Investment Operations Middle Office clients, covering key processes and controls across exchange-traded futures/options and OTC derivative products.
  • •Manage trade matching and margin management for exchange-traded derivatives and trade matching and lifecycle management for OTC derivatives.
  • •Ensure procedures and checklists meet audit, external regulator, and operations risk/control requirements; complete complex exception reporting and rectify errors while maintaining data integrity.
  • •Continuously assess operational risks, liaise with IT on system enhancements, and support change management for client change requests and derivatives onboarding/projects.
  • •Maintain management information and KPI stats, uphold internal control and compliance standards, and ensure reconciliation items and client reporting are completed accurately and on time.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting/commerce.
  • •Strong knowledge of derivatives products gained within the Investment Bank/Fund Services industry, including exchange-traded and OTC markets.
  • •Awareness of accounting practices for derivative products.
  • •Advanced Excel skills and a proven ability to work accurately within tight timescales with excellent attention to detail.
  • •Strong written and oral communication skills for internal/external stakeholders, plus analytical problem-solving ability.
