Job Summary

Lead the startup, ramp, and maturation of ASML’s Applications Engineering capability for an advanced-node customer in the U.S. Build and scale a local team in Austin—from ~10 engineers to a multi-disciplinary HVM support organization—owning customer outcomes across NPI, pilot-line execution, and ramp-to-volume. Partner with install, equipment, and customer teams to deliver on-product performance, manage operational readiness, and align local execution with global strategy.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the local Applications organization through NPI, ramp-to-volume, and sustaining operations.
•Define and evolve the organizational structure, hiring plans, role segmentation, and capability development roadmap.
•Own performance management, talent development, and succession planning for the team.
•Translate on-product Applications strategy into executable priorities aligned with customer commitments.
•Act as the senior Applications representative to the customer, shaping joint priorities and strengthening long-term strategic partnership.

Travel: High travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related field.
•Minimum 12 years of experience in IC manufacturing, lithography, metrology, or process technology.
•Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in technical, customer-facing environments.
•Proven experience in NPI, ramp, HVM, or advanced manufacturing operations.
•Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing technical teams in cross-functional environments.
