Key Responsibilities

•Design and evolve next-gen traffic entryways using Cloudflare for SaaS, driving migration to decentralized edge infrastructure to reduce latency.
•Build and maintain Okta’s multi-cloud backbone across AWS and GCP, architecting hub-and-spoke models using AWS Transit Gateway, AWS Global Accelerator, and GCP Network Connectivity Center.
•Implement and manage Zero-Trust cryptographic controls at scale, enforcing TLS 1.3 externally and mTLS internally across microservice proxies.
•Innovate Agentic SRE automation by designing deterministic playbooks and telemetry ingestion pipelines, moving from reactive debugging to anomaly detection and self-healing.
•Own DDoS firefight triage during India data center hours by analyzing proxy/VPC flow logs and implementing rapid WAF mitigations.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in production cloud infrastructure engineering, systems engineering, or core cloud networking.
•5+ years hands-on with enterprise cloud networking constructs including AWS Transit Gateway, VPC peering, AWS Global Accelerator, Direct Connect, and GCP networking equivalents.
•Strong knowledge of edge delivery networks and edge compute stacks such as Cloudflare for SaaS, Cloudflare Tunnels, custom hostname routing, and Edge Workers.
•Deep understanding of network/security protocols including HTTP/S routing, TCP/IP debugging (tcpdump, Wireshark), PKI/certificate rotation, and proxy layers (Envoy, Nginx, API gateways).
•Advanced IaC and automation skills with Terraform, plus scripting/development in Python or Go.
