Key Responsibilities

  • •Sustain delivery of Operational Resilience processes, policies, and controls framework to keep activities aligned with business and regulatory measures.
  • •Support mapping of business processes and operational assets for critical operations, aligned to the Operational Resilience framework and key standards (including HKMA SPM OR-2).
  • •Support execution of HSBC Operational Resilience framework requirements and development plan in alignment with the operational resilience strategy.
  • •Design and execute operational resilience governance, including metrics and reporting to assess resilience posture and drive uplift actions.
  • •Partner with businesses, technology, and functions (Risk, Internal/External Audit) to deliver Operational Resilience with a quality and on-time approach.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years’ experience in Operational Resilience and/or operational risk management, ideally in a global bank or financial institution.
  • •Strong understanding of risk management principles, operational resilience concepts, and HKMA SPM OR-2 compliance requirements.
  • •Proven experience engaging cross-functional stakeholders and delivering outcomes through influence across multiple groups.
  • •Extensive experience using analysis techniques in a change environment across business, operations, and technology projects.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Cantonese, able to convey complex concepts to varied stakeholders.
